JOB PROFILE
POSITION TITLE: Campaigns & Marketing Specialist
REPORTS TO: Head: Communications & Marketing
DEPARTMENT: Communications & Marketing

JOB GRADE AND LEVEL


JOB PURPOSE
To drive the execution of organisational campaigns and marketing efforts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
•Develops, executes and monitors impactful campaigns in support of communications strategy
•Aligns marketing activities with the digital strategy of the Foundation.
•Lead development of adverting material including writing and proofreading marketing copy, as well as recruiting designers, animators and printers.
•Monitors the budget for advertising and promotional items.
•Coordinates media planning
•Develops and manages integrated marketing plans build campaign journeys and audience mapping and organise events for all programmes of the Foundation,
•Implements the approved brand strategy and value proposition for short as well as long-term campaigns
•Creates and manages promotional collateral towards a sound institutional and programme branding.
•Foster good relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•Matric
•Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Project Management and Marketing
•Post-graduate qualification in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations will be an advantage
•A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in professional marketing and events environment.


WORKING CONDITIONS
The role is mainly office-based, with occasional local travel
