Social Work Manager

Cape Mental Health Society is a non-profit organisation that offers a comprehensive mental health service in the Western Cape. The organisation seeks to employ a highly motivated and dynamic social work manager to manage a team of social and social auxiliary workers.    

Applicants should have:

 

  1. Appropriate qualifications and registration with the SACSSP
  2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a social work manager 
  3. In possession of a valid manual driver’s licence
  4. Knowledge and experience in the field of Mental Disability and Mental Health
  5. Extensive supervisory experience
  6. Appropriate project management experience with relevant financial management skills
  7. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  8. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint 
  9. Good time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
  10. Excellent presentation and training skills
  11. Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations according DoH directives (or intention to be vaccinated as soon as the opportunity arises)
