WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE TRAINING?
The current or aspiring managers (or IT Dedicated Staff) of non-profit organizations and faith-based organizations, who have no formal qualification in Web Development.
WHY WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT?
Web Development & Content management systems (CMS) give organisations the opportunity to develop self-managed websites, meaning they can have complete control over their website functions and updates and can maintain these websites independently.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: After this 2 day programme, delegates will have knowledge of:
- Web design for NGO’s
- Building Trustworthy Non-profit websites
- Promoting your website
- Optimising your website for search engines
- Setting up Google Analytics to analyze website performance
Programme Prerequisites:
The only prerequisite is that you must be computer literate and have the desire to maintain websites. We assume that you start the course with no web design or WordPress experience.
You are required to bring a laptop/Mac or iMac to the course. If you do not have access to one, we can hire one to you.
