About Company
Required Qualifications, Skills and Qualities:
The appointed individual is expected to have the following experience and qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience in Financial Management, preferably within the non-profit sector
- Knowledge of computerised accounting software systems
- Knowledge of relevant taxation legislation
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles
- Practical experience in application of GAAP and IFRS principles
- Excellent written English skills
- Driver’s license, ability to drive and own vehicle would be advantageous
The Finance Manager must have good communication skills, interpersonal relations, have patience and a passion for working with figures. They must be tenacious, detail-oriented, well organised and deadline driven.

- Budgeting and Financial Accounting
- Asset Management
- Control of Expenditure
- Donor Reporting and Donor Relationship Development
- Statutory Compliance
- Finance Reporting and Audits
- Finance Risk Awareness and Mitigation
- Management of Finance Functions
- Payroll Management
- Maintenance and Development of Financial Systems and Controls
- General Support to the Organisation
