Grassroots Edge is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 and is inspiring the community of the Northern Cape to actively engage in their health choices by educating them with fun and interactive curricula and help link individuals to important health services offered by government and non-governmental entities.

About Company
OBJECTIVES OF GRASSROOTS EDGE
The organization has a mandate to address and reduce mortality due to HIV, TB and some of many health issues that we face with emphasis on the treatment, prevention, spread, referrals and support. Our main objective of Grassroots Edge is to help communities prevent and eradicate:
- Unintended pregnancies,
- The spread of HIV/TB and STIs,
- Alcohol and Drug abuse
- Prevention of mother to child transmissions (PM TCT)
- Awareness in Medical Male circumcision (MMC)
- Health talks (IEC) High Burden Areas
- To assists the facility to reach its Set target.
- To promote/conduct health promotion activities and screening on: HCT, TB, MMC, Condom distribution, BP and Weight.
- Care for carers: Adherence Support groups, psychosocial support, health related programmes,
- Capacity building and skills development.
- Advocacy: Mobilisation, Community dialogues.
