An experienced Business Development Manager, with a sound understanding of the SME landscape, Phumudzo Madzunya enjoyed a career history of growing company’s assets, developing solutions for customer success and establishing long-term industry relationships.
A certified Growthwheel Business Coach, Phumudzo offers 17 years’ experience in the business development environment. She possesses a portfolio of introducing advancements during her previous tenure as the Centre Manager of the Downstream Aluminium Centre for Technology, where she led the centre’s recapitalisation programme. She has knowledge in leading ESD programmes in the Engineering sector for South32 and Exxaro through LEAP and has been running Business Incubation Centres for 10 years. Her portfolio as Centre Manager for DACT and SMTDC has empowered her to develop and implement different strategies for sustainability in consultation with the Board of Directors and engage with stakeholders from different organisations.
Highly organised and committed to customer satisfaction, Phumudzo’s depth of experience and knowledge, has supported client’s access to funding, training and other development opportunities. She has also been involved with intern mentorship programme with AB4IR and MICT SETA. She is passionate about building young people into becoming the best that they can be through their education and workplace experience.
Along with a BCom in Marketing Management, Phumudzo is invested in ongoing professional and personal development to ensure she maintains consistently high standards in all areas of responsibility.
