GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE NPO SECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
Registered SACSSP
- Be in possession of a Drive’s license and capable of driving ( Will be tested)
- Minimum 5 years experience as a child protection services Social Worker
- B. A. Degree in Social Work
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience with working with Stakeholders Funders, Government Departments
- Knowledge of the Interpretation and Application of the Children’s Act No. 38 of 2005, including the Norms and Standards,
- Report writing skill
- Excellent Communication Skills, Proficiency in Afrikaans (both verbal and written)
- Computer literate and Proficiency in the use of Computer Applications (Word, Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation Packages, and Internet Applications).
- Knowledge of the NPO Sector and Child Welfare Services, specific Childrens Protection, Statutory work
- Computer literate, and solid knowledge of Microsoft email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Vibrant, Energetic, Self-motivated, with strong leadership skills, and excellent team player.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Early intervention and prevention
- Removal of children to place of safety
- Open and finalize children’s court inquiries.
- Assessing and training prospective foster parents.
Salary based on Department of Social Development Subsidy.
