BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

consultancy | Duration: 9 months | Reports to: SWSA Project Lead
Sesame Workshop South Africa seeks to
strengthen its business development, fundraising, partnership pipeline, and
resource mobilisation efforts in support of its broader growth agenda in South
Africa. The consultant will provide specialised, project-based business
development support focused on identifying and qualifying funding leads,
developing donor and partner concepts, supporting strategic partnership
development, and helping translate Sesame Workshop South Africa’s educational
media, outreach, and impact priorities into fundable opportunities.
The consultancy will build
on SWSA’s existing business development strategy, donor intelligence, prospect
research, and fundraising pipeline. The consultant will review and qualify
existing opportunities, identify new high-potential funding prospects, strengthen
donor engagement strategies, and support concept development and cultivation
activities aligned to SWSA’s growth priorities.
