Job Title:
Campus Care Worker (CCW): University
Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for the supervision of implementation of HIGHER HEALTH programmes across the Public Universities. The role will involve supporting capacity development & training sessions, recruitment and training for peer educators, and implementation of the civic and soft skills programme on campuses. The scope of the work will include programming for gender-based violence, mental health and substance abuse.

Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements:
Behavioural competencies:
- A Bachelor of Social Work/ Social Science degree, and relevant training, is a minimum requirement
- Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) or Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners (ASCHP) is required
- A training facilitator qualification/certification will be an added advantage
- At least 1 years’ experience working as a social worker is a minimum requirement
- Basic knowledge of case management and report writing is required
- Experience working with Adolescence and Young People (AYPs), knowledge of the Higher Education Sector, and or experience in a similar will be an added advantage
- Experience in data collection and reporting
- Experience in stakeholder management at a local and district level
- Experience with training facilitation and capacity development & skills building
- Proficiency in Ms Word; Ms Excel; Power Point; and Ms Outlook
- Ability to write well in English
