GRADUATE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Monitoring & Evaluation Interns (x2) | Strategic Information Intern (x1)
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Contract Type: Internship Programme (Independent contractor)

JPS Africa invites recent graduates to apply for three internship opportunities designed to provide structured, hands-on workplace exposure, learning and professional development.

Interns will observe, shadow and learn from experienced professionals, gaining insight into how their academic knowledge is applied in a real-world public health environment.

To encourage cross-functional learning, interns will also have an opportunity to rotate through relevant units, providing broader exposure to how different functions work together to support programme delivery.

INTERNSHIP EXPOSURE

1.        Monitoring & Evaluation Interns (x2)

Interns will gain exposure to:

·        Programme monitoring and performance tracking

·        Data collection, verification and quality processes

·        Programme indicators, reporting and M&E systems

·        Documentation of programme results and lessons learned

2.        Strategic Information Intern (x1)

The intern will gain exposure to:

·        Data management and information systems

·        Data analysis and interpretation

·        Dashboards, reports and strategic information products

·        Using programme data to support evidence-based decision-making 

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Recent graduates with a relevant Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Information Management, Health Information Systems, Data Science, Social Sciences or a related field.

Little or no formal work experience is required. We are looking for graduates who are eager to learn, curious, professional and ready to gain meaningful workplace exposure.
