Role: Columba Leadership is looking for a dedicated and experienced School Engagement Officer in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape Province. The successful candidate will be responsible for the school-based engagements, be able to work as a thinking partner to the school stakeholders and play a key role in monitoring progress, evaluating results and reporting on the projects.

Purpose
The School Engagement Officer is responsible for the school-based engagements of the Columba Leadership Programme. The candidate must be able to work as a thinking and support partner to the school stakeholders (principals, educators and learners) and will play a key role in monitoring progress, evaluating results and reporting.

Experience
Attributes / Abilities / Characteristics
Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License essential
- Must be in possession of a Bachelor of Psychology or a Bachelor of Education Degree or a Social Sciences Degree
- Coaching/Mentoring Qualification will be an added advantage
Experience
- Must have 3 – 5 years’ experience working at schools at a Principal and Educator level
Attributes / Abilities / Characteristics
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Excellent reporting writing
skills essential
Excellent communication skills - Strong planning, time management, co-ordination and admin skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, has the ability to take initiative and be a team player
- Must be proficient in MS
Office
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fluid environment - Ability to work under pressure
- Honest, reliable and accountable
- Take responsibility for own growth, development and mastery
Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License essential
