Corruption Watch (CW) is a South African civil-society organisation dedicated to combating corruption and strengthening public accountability. Through research, public engagement, strategic communications, and advocacy, it exposes corruption, assigns responsibility, and seeks institutional responses and meaningful consequences when public or entrusted power is abused.

Position overview

CW seeks to appoint a Senior Finance Officer to lead CW's operational finance function, manage financial reporting, donor compliance, budget oversight, procurement governance, and internal financial controls, ensuring the organisation operates with sound financial management and integrity.

The role is the primary internal financial authority, working in close collaboration with the Executive Director and the part-time External Finance Consultant, providing direct oversight and management of the Junior Bookkeeper and Administration Assistant. This role is responsible for the quality, completeness and accuracy of all financial management outputs, CW's compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and the effective functioning of the finance and administration team.
