APO Group Appoints New Chief Operating Officer (COO)

APO Group, the premier Pan-African communications consultancy and press release distribution service, is excited to announce the appointment of Bas Wijne as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In his new position, Bas will drive the company’s growth strategy. He will focus on optimizing operational processes, integrating new technical innovations, and improving efficiencies across all business areas.
An essential aspect of Bas’s role will be overseeing projects incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into both internal and external operations, with a specific emphasis on leveraging AI to enhance client services.
With over 20 years of experience in the media and technology sectors, Bas is well-suited to oversee the development of APO Group’s core services.
Having previously served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from 2019-2021, Bas brings a data-driven approach and a passion for technological innovation to his new role as COO.
