ARE YOU READY TO IGNITE CHANGE IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF SOUTH AFRICA?
In the face of South Africa's educational challenges, an opportunity emerges for a dynamic individual to join Common Good as the Education Deputy Programme Director. This pivotal role calls for someone adept at fostering innovation, providing leadership, and nurturing relationships within the public school system.
For the past seven years, Common Good has been at the forefront of educational transformation, collaborating with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) to uplift non-fee-paying schools. We believe that through a combination of resources from government, private funders and civil society organisations, a collaboration can be created to nurture South African learners to realise their potential.
If you're passionate about driving school-level transformations that have the power to shape and fortify the entire educational landscape, we want you! We're seeking leaders who approach their work with humility and a mindset of endless possibilities. Collaboration is key, and we value those who can respectfully partner with other change agents and influencers to drive progress. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to create pathways that empower and uplift our most valuable assets: leaders, teachers, parents, and learners alike. If you bring a wealth of experience in leading exceptional schools within the public education sphere, we invite you to join our dynamic and visionary team. Let's embark on this journey together and make a real difference in education!
The role offers a permanent appointment and will be located in the vibrant locale of Observatory, Cape Town. Remuneration will be tailored to experience and aligned with Common Good’s Rewards Policy.
