Part-time (24 - 32 hours per week)

Little Zebra Books is a faith-based, non-profit organisation that exists to serve Southern African communities through the development, production, and distribution of home language children’s books.
We are currently seeking to employ someone for this part-time position from our offices in Muizenberg or on a hybrid basis. We are a small and dedicated team, passionate about our work.
Job description: Assist with financial accounts, record-keeping, reporting, file management and general office administration.
Major Responsibilities:
● Produce receipts, quotes and invoices
● Process payments
● Capture expenditure and income on Sage
● Bank recon, petty cash and other financial admin tasks
● Purchase office supplies
● Maintain digital file archives
● Maintain production, inventory and shipping records
● General office administration
Job Requirements:
● Degree or diploma in financial administration, bookkeeping or similar.
● 3-5 years experience in a similar role in the nonprofit sector
● Experience using Sage Accounting software
● Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
● High level of computer proficiency
● Familiarity with Google Drive, Docs & Sheets
● Advanced spreadsheet skills, preferred
● Experience in organising and maintaining records
● Clear and concise verbal and written communication
