Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation and Storytelling:

• Be onsite in the mornings to interact with staff and gather real-time stories.
• Capture engaging photos and videos that showcase the clinic's work and impact.

Document stories from various departments (e.g., veterinary staff) for use in social media posts, newsletters, and marketing materials. 

• Ensure all content aligns with the clinic's mission and resonates with the target audience.

1. Social Media Management:

• Manage and grow the clinic’s presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Plan, create, and schedule posts, reels, stories and blogs to maintain a consistent online presence.
• Monitor social media trends to stay relevant.
• Engage with followers and adapt content based on feedback and engagement metrics.

3. Marketing Campaigns:

• Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at raising awareness about the clinic’s services, programs, and events.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications Executive to align social media efforts with fundraising goals.
• Promote events, fundraising drives, and donation appeals through targeted online strategies.

4. Visual Content Creation:

• Regularly update and maintain a library of high-quality photos and videos from the clinic.
• Document special cases, success stories, and behind-the-scenes activities.
• Design eye-catching digital graphics, posters, and adverts using Canva or other design tools for campaigns, newsletters, and online platforms.

5. Website and Blog Management:

• Write and publish engaging blog posts.
• Maintain and update the clinic’s WordPress website with fresh content, news, and stories.

6. Analytics and Reporting:

• Track social media performance and engagement using analytics tools.
• Provide regular reports on key metrics, such as follower growth, engagement rates, and content performance.
• Use data to optimize content strategy and improve overall social media presence.

7. Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications Executive to ensure that marketing and fundraising efforts are integrated.
• Support the General Manager and other departments with promotional materials, event coverage, and external communications.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for campaigns and content.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content.
•  Excellent design skills with a strong command of Canva or similar design tools.
• Photography and basic video editing skills.
•  Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Passion for animal welfare and storytelling.

Position Details:

• Part-time contractor position.
• Must be available onsite at the clinic from 8am to 1pm weekdays.
• Flexible hours for posting and monitoring social media platforms.
• Occasional weekend or evening work may be required for special events.
