Sukuthula – Project Lead
Indefinite-term contract

Claremont, Cape Town
Job description
The DG Murray Trust (DGMT) is a public innovator through strategic investment. Innovation is achieved through behavioural change (influencing individual and societal mindsets and actions) and through technological change. For us, public innovation is simply the process of making the world a better place for all people, in synergy with nature.
The Sukuthula Gender-based Violence Initiative is a dynamic initiative dedicated to addressing gender-based violence (GBV) in the Eastern Cape and Limpopo provinces. Our mission is to empower communities through strategic grants using a model of trust-based grant-making through multiyear, flexible funding with streamlined processes and systems, and more decision-making power in the hands of the grantee partners and communities most affected by GBV. Through our Sukuthula Gender-based Violence Initiative, we aim to drive positive change by supporting grassroots initiatives.
The Charlize Theron Africa Project, the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation and DGMT fund the project.
