About Me

I hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts Honours. I am a legal and public affairs professional with 10 years’ experience in the public and private sector. My previous roles have allowed me to work with corporate clients, intergovernmental organizations, local and regional research organizations and universities, as well advocacy and civil society organizations. 

 

Throughout my career I have managed, built and maintained strategic relationships with various local, regional and global entities as well as initiated and managed joint research and business projects in the science, technology and innovation ecosystem. I have experience in communicating on public policy issues such as internet regulation, privacy and data protection, ICT policy, media freedom, intermediary liability, cybersecurity as well as online content regulation. I am a great researcher and am well versed in drafting of legal opinions, policy reports and agreements, developing policy materials such as policy toolkits as well as undertaking regulatory compliance audits.
