We are a very effective Non-Profit Organisation working with female street children and preventing children at risk of dropping out of school. This work will not suit someone who wants the latest equipment and deep pile carpets. The successful applicant will work in a warm, committed and organised team.


To be considered for the position you will need:
 Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
 Good report writing skills in English and Xhosa/Afrikaans and evaluative ability
 Be mature and have experience with children
 Preferably hold a post matric qualification in a field related to children such as Childcare/Youth Development/Teaching
 

COMMUNITY WORKER – FULL DAY POST


The successful applicant must:
Work afternoons in Philippi
 Supervise homework;
 Visit Schools and Parents
 Provide Counselling
 Work mornings in Woodstock and Mowbray
 Assist with Bridging School in Mowbray
 Administrative work
