About Company
Cesvi established in 2007 a centre in Philippi, Cape Town, called House of Smile. Since its inception, Cesvi has used a multi-stakeholder approach as modus operandi to undertake its mandate of being a social services hub. The centre is a key player in supporting the local community in addressing its social challenges by implementing programs to address gender-based violence (GBV), domestic violence (DV), substance abuse, child protection, HIV/AIDS and sexual reproductive health. At the House of Smile, Cesvi in partnership with local CSOs and NPOs, provides a safe home for abused women and destitute children, a safe space for adolescents and young people, psychosocial support services for disadvantaged families and an aftercare programme for vulnerable children.
