Education Programme Lead (Gauteng)

As the Programme Lead at Edunova, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects and initiatives, with a specific focus on driving the growth of our Gauteng region as a key outcome. Your responsibilities will include strategic leadership, collaboration across departments, resource and budget management, timeline optimisation and stakeholder relationship management to align our organisation with its mission. Throughout your tenure, the emphasis will be on delivering high-quality outcomes and expanding our Company’s presence in Gauteng.

Skills and competencies :

• At least 5 years of educational experience.
• ICT in education experience.
• Experience in curriculum development and innovation in education.
• Ability to design education projects and programmes.
• Quality assurance on all educational programmes and projects
• A track record as a Project Manager on small or medium-sized ICT projects
• Able to organise and chair strategy and planning meetings, attended by senior officials and managers, as well as experienced IT specialists, between the major project stakeholders. 
• Able to communicate and network effectively with project and business partners.
• Able to nurture good relationships with the project partners.
• Good interpersonal and people management skills
• Excellent report-writing skills
• Willingness to travel and valid driving license are essential.

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Responsible for the design, development and monitoring of Edunova's educational programmes in relation to funder expectations
• Review current practice and develop a strategy and process to manage the implementation of Edunova's educational programmes across all projects.
• Coordinate the programme and project team.
• Review and develop programme workstreams.
• Develop, manage and implement a measurement tool (dashboard) to collect data and show outcome achievement.
• Coordinate budget with Financial Manager.
• Design and manage all project reporting (funder and measurement aligned) including narrative, financial and visual presentations.
• Travel nationally to visit project sites and support business development.
• Manage account for specific Edunova-funder relationships.
• Administer and maintain Edunova’s existing accreditation status with SACE and SETAs.
