FAMSA is a non-profit organization providing vital services to persons in the family and also provides them with psychosocial and emotional support. FAMSA has been in existence since 1954. The FAMSA National Office located in Kempton Park is on a search for 2 (two) Members of the Board of Management (BOM). FAMSA National Office would like to invite candidates to apply for positions to serve as Board of Management members in the respective portfolios of Fundraising and Finance.
The National office provides support to over 28 FAMSA affiliates across South Africa that operate independently.
Qualifications/ Skills/Attributes/ Competencies
• Strategic thinker
• Apply discretion and honesty in all dealings
• Good understanding of corporate governance
• Experience working in the NPO sector
• Strong finance management skills
• Good understanding of fundraising and grant management
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ethical leadership
• Any relevant tertiary qualification
• Min 7 years of Management work experience
