Request for Proposals for Grant Management Partners The GBVF Response Fund1 is a part of a national response to gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF) in South Africa. The Fund has been set up to galvanize action around the National Strategic Plan (NSP) on GBVF. Led by an by an independent Board of Directors, the Fund is a private sector-led initiative that aims to consolidate, ensure a consistent and coordinated approach from private sector in response to GBVF in society and the world of work. The Brief The GBVF Response Fund is extending an invitation eligible organizations capable of taking on the role of GMPs. The selected GMPs will be expected to demonstrate their capacity, reliability, and ability to execute and manage contracts for Community based organisations. The GBVF Response Fund Requires Grants Management Partners with the ability to fulfil the following duties: 1. Lead the announcement of RFP2 as well as screen and select a shortlist of successful CBOs. 2. Onboarding, management, oversight and reporting for CBOs. 3. Performance monitoring and reporting set against MERL. 4. Reporting requirements-technical and financial reports, portfolio risk management. The four areas will form part of the core performance framework for the Grants Management Partners and each area is further articulated and unpacked in the detailed terms of reference and scope of work. Eligibility Criteria: Organizations that are working within the gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF) sector and are aligned to the National Strategic Plan (NSP) will be considered. Proven experience aimed at achieving the objectives, priority issues and meeting all other requirements as outlined under section 1 are eligible to apply under this request for Proposals. Compliance Requirements:: 1. Must be a legally registered in South African as a Non-profit company (NPC) or Trust with CIPC. 2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate. 3. Have been registered not less than three (3) years before the date of the application. 4. Capability: Past performance references including support letters from donors and/or provinces that either are actively working in or have worked in the past.
