Title: Administrative Intern
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our organization as an Administrative Intern. This position will provide administrative support to various departments and gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. The successful candidate must have an NQF Level 5 qualification and be residing within Region G of Johannesburg South.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning.
2. Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriate personnel.
3. Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
4. Support various departments with research and analysis projects as assigned.
5. Organize and maintain office supplies inventory.
6. Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports as needed.
7. Assist with scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.
8. Provide administrative support to management and staff as required.
9. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Requirements:
1. Must have an NQF Level 5 qualification in a related field.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
5. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Professional and friendly demeanor, with excellent customer service skills.
7. Proactive problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
8. Resides within Region G of Johannesburg South.

Please Note:
This internship position that will require a commitment of 40 hours per week. Travel assistance and/or stipends will be provided depending upon individual circumstances.
