Job Title: HR Officer

Purpose of the Job
As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for the preparation of employee files, processing payroll, updating records, and supporting the HR Manager with company policies and procedures. You will be the primary contact for all HR-related queries and play a key role in maintaining a well-organized HR system.
Minimum Requirements
- Education (Essential): Relevant Qualification in HR (NQF 5/6)
- Education (Ideal): Diploma in HR Management
- Experience (Essential): 2 years in an HR environment
- Experience (Ideal): 3+ years in an HR environment with payroll administration experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Employee Document Management (20%): Maintain thorough employee records, prepare files, manage contracts, and ensure compliance.
- Payroll Administration (60%): Prepare payroll, expenses, and commissions. Handle statutory documents, update leave records, and manage related HR databases.
- HR Policies & Procedures (10%): Assist in updating policies, coordinate recruitment, and support health and safety initiatives.
- General HR Support (10%): Screen applications, arrange interviews, manage employee inquiries, and provide administrative support in HR activities.
