Mission: To eradicate the adverse impact of HIV, sexual and reproductive health rights and justice challenges impacting women and their families through education, prevention, support, research and human rights advocacy in the United States, South Africa, and around the world.

About Us: SisterLove started working in South African communities in 1999 which saw the registration of SisterLove South Africa (SLiSA) in 2002. SLiSA is focused on capacity building with local community-based groups and organizations to address the HIV epidemic through sustainable organizational and program development. We have worked with community-based organizations and groups in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape. SLiSA’s programs focus on the reduction of new HIV infections among Women, Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), and their male counterparts. SLiSA's programs include the implementation of evidence-based interventions for HIV and GBV risk assessment; evidence-based HIV and STI education and empowerment inclusive of PrEP; distribution of products that reduce risk of HIV and STI transmission; linkage to HIV testing and HIV/AIDS care and services; GBV education, empowerment, and linkage to support services; and advocacy for human rights and HIV stigma reduction.
