About Company
About Us:
SAMBT trains people who are blind or partially sighted in independence skills. This includes Orientation and Mobility skills as well as Skills of Daily Living. We follow a unique radical outreach approach, making sure that people who are blind and who live off the beaten track, can access independence training. We have trained nearly 5 500 people since inception over 25 years ago. We currently employ seven fulltime O&M Practitioners who train about 350 people per year in rural areas, townships and at schools for the blind across all nine provinces. Our training is completely individualised to the needs, environment, additional health concerns and family circumstances of each person we train.
We are looking for:
A qualified Occupational Therapist with experience in oversight to join our vibrant team in the role of monitoring and evaluation as well as supervision of training. This is a full-time position.
