The Tshwane Leadership Foundation (TLF) is a nonprofit organisation working with churches and communities for urban transformation with a specific focus on social inclusion - a process that integrates socially vulnerable people creatively and prevents displacement as much as possible.
The organisation seeks to appoint a Chief Executive Officer, based in Pretoria, to lead, support and manage all the Tshwane Leadership Foundation programmes. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) that TLF is looking for, should be a mature Christian with an active faith life, since the organisation is faith-based. The position is multi-faceted and requires a diverse skill set, including excellent stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to drive organizational success, and a vision for the future. The CEO is the external face of the organisation and as such interacts with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external) from grassroots communities and staff members to other NGOs and senior government officials, both locally and internationally. The role is suited to an individual with significant leadership and management experience and the ability to perform well under pressure as part of a dynamic team.

Role requirements:
- Relevant degree + studies in humanities
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Urban Ministry and vulnerable communities
- Management training + diversity of experience
- Knowledge and experience of urban theology and urban community development
- Understanding of and desire to live the values of the TLF movement
- Experience in working with Boards
- Experience in working with local and international donors, as well as managing government funding
- Experience in change management
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Experienced driver with a driver’s license for at least 5 years
- Skilled in participatory vision development and strategic planning
- Financial management, fundraising, and donor management skills/ experience

Contractual Arrangements:
This is a fixed term contract position, 40 hours per week.
Salary:R 40 000
