About Me
As an accomplished operations and resource mobilization manager with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education and public health, I am deeply committed to addressing the challenges posed by the constrained economic environment in South Africa. My expertise is founded upon over a decade of practical experience, which has enabled me to work in close collaboration with key stakeholders to advance the strategic goals and vision of institutions. Currently, I am engaged in devising sustainable and cost-effective operating plans and budgets, with a focus on reducing business expenses. Through my work, I collaborate closely with various national and international funders to develop academic programs, research grants and projects that address critical public health issues, thereby expanding my skill set in stakeholder management, budgeting, grant management, financial management, and communication. This exposure has provided me with valuable insights into the requirements of international funders. I hold a Commerce honours (BCom) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, with a deep understanding of business processes, strategic and financial management, and exceptional skills in leadership, management, and command and control. My strengths lie in being a results-oriented individual who takes the initiative to identify and prioritize critical issues, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
