Finance Clerk

Nexia SAB&T seeks to appoint a dynamic individual to render effective financial and administration management support to the Affordable Medicines Directorate within the National Department of Health on a fixed term contract in Pretoria.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Render financial management transactions.
- Support the budget preparation, budget management and reporting process.
- Perform bookkeeping and general administration function.
- Support risk management initiatives in the Directorate.
- Render support in the management of assets and asset register.
Qualification, Skills, Competencies & Experience:
- A recognized National Diploma or Degree in accounting or financial management.
- At least one/thr ee year credible financial management experience.
- Working knowledge of:
- PFMA and Treasury Regulations, Instruction/Practice notes
- Procurement Management processes.
- Computer Skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good Communication Skills (Verbal and written).
- Problem Solving Skills.
- Various filing systems i.e. alphanumerical and numerical etc.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under constant pressure.
- Excellent leadership skills.
