Humana People to People in South Africa seeks to recruit 1 Professional Nurse. The successful applicant will be based at Limpopo Collins Chabane, Limpopo Province.

Job Purpose

The Professional Nurse will be required to oversee and do study implementation, (e.g. blood draw, rapid testing, counselling, referrals etc. according to national department of health guidelines.), including field staff activities, quality control of data collection and data entry, liaising closely with program teams.

The HPPSA is looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualities:

Qualifications/ Requirements: 

• Grade 12 /Matric

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse. 

• Clear criminal record. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Degree /Diploma in Nursing.

• 3 years’ experience in clinical trial/research coordination.

• Experience in research with key populations.

• Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with a valid APC. 

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse. 

• Must be prepared to work additional hours. 

• 5 years’ experience as a registered nurse in Malaria Control Program

• Must have a clear understanding of Malaria Management.

• Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.

• Must be computer literate MS Word & Excel.
