Humana People to People in South Africa seeks to recruit 1 Data Analyst .The successful applicant will be based in Nkomazi, Mpumalanga Province.

Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Data Analyst plays an essential role in implementing programs to address malaria among the mobile migrant population and control outbreaks.

The HPPSA is looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualities:

Qualifications/ Requirements

1. Grade12/Matric certificate

2. An undergraduate diploma in public health, epidemiology, or a field related to public health is required.

3. Advanced training in monitoring and evaluation (or equivalent experience with certifications) is preferred.

4. Valid driver’s license

5.  Experience with performance monitoring and evaluation for international and/or national development projects, including developing performance indicators, data collection, and analysis, is preferred. 

6. Advanced training or certifications in monitoring and evaluation are a plus.Experience in the design and implementation of data collection and data management systems. Ideally, experience using these systems in previous work is a plus.

7. Experience in data analysis and evaluation, including statistical methods for testing hypotheses

8. Experience in translating data into accessible reports for diverse audiences

9. Experience conducting large scale quantitative surveys
