Job Title:

Data Capturer – Global Fund

Purpose:

 

To capture information from hard copies to electronic systems, e.g. excel, access & DHIS ensure that the information that is captured is accurate and of a good standard. The incumbent will also be expected to provide linkage support to those beneficiaries identified with certain vulnerabilities in the risk assessment phase, they are successfully linked to treatment and care.

Main Functions: 

 1: Data Capturing

       Data Entry

  1. Enter and complete information from enrolment forms, core package forms, and service plans accurately

  2. Count and capture enrolments forms, core package forms, and services plans on the MyHope web system and excel sheets

  3. Ensure biomedical forms are completed accurately 

  4. Count and capture biomedical forms on excel sheets

  5. Count and capture Consent forms, Reach Registers, and Risk Screening forms on the Reach excel sheet

  6. Support the Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator in the completion of the statistical reports to HIGHER HEALTH

  7. Count and capture entries relating to both the Global Fund Program and other HIGHER HEALTH Programmes as directed by the PMEC and or Regional Manager

  8. Ad hoc tasks related to data management

  9. Upon accepting this contract, you automatically agree to use Higher Health laptop/PC to conduct the activities outlined above and you will ensure that the Laptop/PC you will be using doesn’t leave Higher health Premises.

  10. Consistently check work for accuracy and completeness

  11. Ensure beneficiaries' linkage to care 

       Administrative

  1. Responsible for storing and filing completed information and maintaining records of work tasks and completed documents

  2. Performs many different administrative tasks such as word processing, filling out paperwork, and maintaining records and files

  3. Telephone queries

2: Operating Equipment

  1. Orotates a variety of machines and equipment such as computers with a variety of systems, keyboards, scanners, printers and copy machines

  2. Knowledge of specific software and programs for data entry tasks

  3. Keys information directly into the computer, and can also be required to scan documents and fill in any missing information

  4. Responsible for loading compliance machines with required materials including paper, disks, tapes, etc 

Requirements: 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Grade 12

  2. Basic counselling skills

  3. Any related qualification

Experience: 

 

 

 

  1. Experience of organizing and providing administrative assistance 

  2. Experience with the MyHope database system and Global Fund monitoring would be an added advantage

  3. Excellent record keeping and filing system

  4. High level of computer literacy primarily in Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  5. Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and deadlines

  4. High level of computer literacy primarily in Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

  6.  Flexible working hours including weekends as required
