Mandela Day is one of the most celebrated days at Randridge Mall and Boskruin Village. We see it as an opportune time to take hands with our shoppers and make a lasting difference in the community. As no one should be left in the cold, we have teamed up with HospiceWits and DM Watches & Gifts, in a heart-warming social investment campaign.
In the weeks leading up to Mandela Day, Randridge Mall ran a blanket drive to help keep the patients of HospiceWits comfortable this winter. Donation stations were set up around the mall where shoppers and the community could make blanket and wool donations. Together with the community, Randridge Mall and Boskruin Village handed over more than 200 blankets to Hospice Wits, making a positive impact on those in need.
Thank you to our tenants who were involved in making this campaign a success. Thanks to Wimpy, Food Café, and Pick and Pay for the coffee and eats for the knitting ladies, and to Sorbet for being part of the knitting drive A special thank you to DM Watches & Gifts for their great support in coordinating the drive.
