VACANCY:  AFRIKAANS SOCIAL WORKER – Child Abuse Sector 

 

 

 

WOMEN & MEN AGAINST CHILD ABUSE: BOKSBURG KIDZ CLINIC

 

Fluent Afrikaans – not negotiable

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  1. A 4-year degree in Social Work ( B. Soc. Sci)  and registered with SACSSP

 

  1. At least 3 - 5 years, experience. Specific focus on working with children. 

 

  1. Strong therapeutic and assessment background – PLAY THERAPY (essential),  
    family therapy, parental guidance.

 

  1. Experience relating to assessment of Child Abuse and Neglect will be an advantage.

 

  1. Computer literacy, excellent word processing and record keeping skills.  

 

  1. Ability to manage cases and liaise with various role-players.

 

  1. Must speak fluent Afrikaans and have an excellent command of English

 

  1. Pro-active and passionate about the rights of victims. 

 

  1. Sound knowledge of legislation pertaining to children and child protective services
