Position: Fellowship Programmes Manager
Location: TEKANO offices, Cape Town
Closing Date: 11 October 2024
TEKANO is looking for an experienced and passionate Fellowship Programmes Manager to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. Reporting to the Programmes Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Fellowship Programme, ensuring its alignment with organisational goals and its impact on health equity in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Programme Management: Develop and execute plans for the fellowship programme's activities, including curriculum design, budget monitoring, and evaluation of programme outcomes.
• Support and Guidance: Provide ongoing support and coaching to Fellows, helping them in their leadership development journey.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with Fellows, partners, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and programme success.
• Innovation and Learning: Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, driving programme improvements and maximising impact.
• Value Practice: Uphold and promote TEKANO's mission, values, and strategic objectives through all programme activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Honours degree or equivalent qualifications in Development, Social Sciences, or Public Health Equity.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ work experience in programme management within an NGO environment, with a focus on leadership or social justice programmes.
• Skills: Proficient in electronic communications and office software, with strong programme management, curriculum development, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Other: Fluent in written and spoken English, with an additional South African languages an advantage.
